Happy Friday everyone! And hello June!

I'm so excited that June is here, because it means we get to move into our new house this month! =D What's more is I'll get my own sewing room that will be large enough to actually hold everything, ha! (Collecting too much sewing stuff is an issue we all have right??) On top of that I like to draw and paint...so there's a whole easel and paints and pencils to go along with that. I'm most excited that I won't have all of that stuff in our master bedroom with a bed squeezed in the corner anymore. *joyous dance*

So throughout 2018, the International Association of Quilters (IAQ) are running a Scavenger Hunt BOM.  On the first Wednesday of each month the Guest Designer for the month releases a 9" (finished) block. I'm June's guest designer, I'm sharing this fun little  block pattern. Plus it's free! You can download it directly from my site or over at Craftsy.

Download the pattern here--->.

I ended up turning my block into a fast mug rug for my tea. I get pretty impatient and like when my project can be done right now. I like mug rugs since they're littler and it's fun to trade one out for another on a whim to suit your mood.

This is a mock up if I made more blocks and turned it into a doll quilt which I was very very close to doing. If you do sew this block I'd love to see! Tag on on IG @transientart or leave a comment. ;)

Always,
