Bunny Rabbit Placemat ~ Giveaway!

Ah! I can't believe it's November already!! I'm going to be 26 in 11 days and Lyla is going to be 5 months in 7. It's going way too fast, can anyone slow it down please? ;( I've even whipped out my planner that hasn't been touched in months because my mind is so frazzled right now. Too many ideas, sewing, cleaning, kids, cooking, more sewing seriously, ooo hey this book looks interesting, I think I want to paint now. There's 25+ projects in progress on my bulletin board currently and of course I veered off again and made this bunny rabbit placemat yesterday.

Cute, right?  =]  I know I'll be making a couple more of them. I think it's the perfect little size for a toddler's snack, or to put my keyboard on top of if I make a longer one...hmm! I'm working on a pattern for it right now, so that should hopefully be up in my Etsy shop soonish. I noticed I hit over 500 followers on Instagram and decided that I would give this way in appreciation to you guys. =) All you have to do it follow and 'like' my picture to enter if you want. Sewing girly things has been much more fun than I ever thought it would be, and so has been decorating a girl's room. I've been seeing these recycled paper bags in kids' rooms with cool patterns and faces around on Pinterest and Instagram. So when I found one in clearance at the Container Store, it came home with me and I drew a face on it. :P

Besides presents, I'm trying to finish the advent calendar I was supposed to make last year, whoops. I did do Trick-or-Treat bags last year. This year I did finish Halloween pajama bottoms, another Halloween pillowcase, and 3 costumes. Lyla was a grey kitten and Jude and Jacob decided to be Link from the Legend of Zelda. Neither wanted to be green but the red and blue from the Fire and Water Temple. I think they looked pretty cool. =) I think I spent more time making their belt harnesses then I did on the tunics and hats. Note: sewing with pleather sucks ass. Remind me to buy that plastic presser foot that's supposed to help next year.

Always,
